The Apparatus is based on the principle of springs and spring resistance that promotes increased strength, endurance, balance, stability, and flexibility. Our studio is fully equipped with Gratz apparatus, the original manufacturer of Pilates devices that produce the devices according to the original dimensions and demands of Joseph Pilates.
The Mat is composed of 34 exercises that combine precision and controlled deep breathing and fullness. Work on the POWER HOUSE muscles - the abdomen, buttocks and thighs - is held every exercise in addition to working on the rest of the body.
What is Pilates?
"The Pilates method of body conditioning is a unique system of stretching and strengthening exercises developed nearly 100 years ago by Joseph H. Pilates. It strengthens and tones the muscles, improves posture, provides flexibility and balance, unites body and mind, and creates a more streamlined shape."

Pilates works every muscle in your body - including your brain! The system consists of two types of workouts: mat and apparatus.

While the mat remains the most recognized part of the Pilates system, it is also one of the toughest to master. The apparatus and their accompanying exercises were made to facilitate the mat work. The mat and apparatus create a harmony together, they complement each other. A person wishing to reap the full benefits of Pilates should be practicing the system in its entirety, both on the mat and the apparatus, as catered for in the Studio.
